2020, the betterment of all

          Year 2019 has passed, another year has come, new year has been celebrated, time flies so fast and now, it's 2020.

          A lot of good and bad things happened last year. A lot of good and bad news have spreaded worldwide. A lot of people cried in pain and misery. A lot of parents have shortcomings to their children and a lot of people around the world have been feeling unlove.

          Now that it's 2020, I pray and hope for the best to all of us. I pray and hope for the betterment of our mother earth. I pray and hope that only good things will happen. I pray and hope that people who cried because they are in pain and misery will eventually heal and forgive. I pray and hope that parents who have shortcomings to their children will fill these shortcomings that they've failed to fulfill. I pray and hope that all people will be love by everybody regardless of their gender, personality and all. I pray and hope that our 2020 will be filled with blessings and happiness in our lives.

June 12, 1898 is the day when our country tasted its own freedom from the Spanish Colonization. Every year, all Filipinos are gathering together to celebrate this special holiday occasion. Since it is a national holiday, government offices are closed including business establishment except shopping centers. While, public transport such as buses, passenger jeeps, and tricycle still operate but their routes may be limited because of the parades. President Diosdado Macapagal signed the Republic Act No. 4166 regarding this matter on August 04, 1964. Republic Act No. 4166 is an act changing the date of the Philippines Independence Day from July four to June twelve.
