SAY YES TO HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
“National
Nutrition Week” initiated in March 1973, was embraced by members of the
American Dietetic Association. The purpose of celebrating “Nutrition Month” is
to encourage every individual to have a healthy lifestyle, healthy eating, and
more.
Eating a healthy diet is not
about strict limitations, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself
of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy,
improving your health, and boosting your mood.
"Kumain ng wasto at maging aktibo, Push natin to!"
In
the month of July-August, we always celebrate “Nutrition Month” every year. In celebrating
this occasion, students were given a task to compose a song and choreograph a
dance number related to eating healthily and they will perform in order to
encourage every individuals to start having a healthy lifestyle.
In order to
achieve a healthy lifestyle: First, we must start eating foods that are good
for the health like fruits and vegetables and avoid eating unhealthy foods such
as junk foods, street foods, fast foods, etc. Second, we must exercise
regularly after we woke up from a peaceful sleep to keep our body in a healthy
weight, lower the risk of some diseases, and shorten a person’s risk of
developing certain diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and high blood
pressure. Third, always drink water. Fourth, avoid smoking cigarettes and
drinking alcohols and soft drinks.
We must always follow this step in order to achieve a healthy lifestyle. We must protect and take care
of our health before it is too late so that we will not regret it.

IS WEALTH”
