Wikang Filipino: Paunlarin at Pagyamanin

Image

THE NEW PART OF ME

Image
I am always at my comfort zone since I was just a child. I always do what I usually do because I am afraid to try new things that are out of my league and I am not familiar with. But these past few days, a realization hits me. I learned a lot of things and that is to not let myself stuck from the things that I am only good at but instead, I should let myself come out from my comfort zone and try to learn new things more. Because learning new things will overcome your fear, and you will get to know yourself more. If we only do what we can do, we will never be more than what we are now. Since I was young and until now, I find it hard to talk in front of many people and I also find it hard to express my feelings and thoughts to other people because I am afraid that people would judge me and I lacked confidence too. There were a time when we will report in our subject Information and Communication Technology, I was really nervous and anxious thinking that I would mess...

Always be PREPARED in facing DISASTERS

Image
“Kahandaan sa Sakuna’t Peligro Para sa tunay na Pagbabago” is the theme of National Disaster Resilience Month. Disaster is a sudden event, such as an accident or a natural catastrophe that causes great damage or loss of life. It is dangerous not only to human/people but also for animals and to our nature. And also, one of the main reason why our mother earth is slowly losing its beauty. And sadly, we cannot avoid it.             In order for us to be secured and reduce the effects of disasters: First, we must participate in earthquake drill so we can gain a knowledge on how to respond to the complications of an actual earthquake because this will help ensure that there will be no confusion or panic among individuals. Second, we must participate in tree planting activity because trees contribute to our environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, cons...

Eating a healthy diet is not about strict limitations, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, improving your health, and boosting your mood. "Kumain ng wasto at maging aktibo, Push natin to!"             In the month of July-August, we always celebrate “Nutrition Month” every year. In celebrating this occasion, students were given a task to compose a song and choreograph a dance number related to eating healthily and they will perform in order to encourage every individuals to start having a healthy lifestyle. In order to achieve a health...

National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

Image
In the past, there is no such thing like earthquake drill. A lot of people died because they have no idea and they don’t know what to do when an actual earthquake occurs so it is such a good thing that National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council implemented this program so that students, parents, and staff will gain a knowledge on how to respond to the complications of an actual earthquake. In every schools, they are teaching every student on how to prepare before an earthquake occur, but some of the students are not taking it seriously when they are performing earthquake drill. Some of them are on their phones, laughing, talking to each other, and more.  They don't realize the importance of this activity because this activity which we called earthquake drill, is for their own sake, their own safety.              This is a very important activity to all of us as it would prevent us in panicking, whic...
