HAPPY SCHOOL MOVEMENT

Image result for happy school movement          Happy School Movement was celebrated in Vigan City, July 26,2019 at Vigan Convention Center. Through this program, the learners'/students full potential is given the greatest attention by creating a happier and more positive school culture. It aims to create an environment where students can freely express themselves and promote learning in an easy yet effective way of learning.

          We, students of Ilocos Sur National High School got the oppurtunity to witness this beautiful event in our city. It was conducted at VCC and it was very fun. Teachers gave meaningful speech that we would bring until we get old and some advices to their students about life, being happy in school, enjoy, and not pressure youself too much to the point that your health would be at risk. There were a lot of booths that were prepared and it was categorized with a different subjects like Mother-tounge Based Education, Happy Schools Movement Youth Formation, Science, Math, Mapeh, Ict, and more.

          When we are done visiting all the booths, we were given a chance to wrote in the freedom wall about the feedbacks of the event and hang it. There are no time that we felt unhappy because every minute that we've spend was memorable. Attending a program like this will help the students relieve stress, smile, and succeed. To all the students like me, always be happy and study hard so that you'll become what you'll dream for in the future. Dr. Seuss said "The more thing you will know, The more that you learn, The more places you'll go."

June 12, 1898 is the day when our country tasted its own freedom from the Spanish Colonization. Every year, all Filipinos are gathering together to celebrate this special holiday occasion. Since it is a national holiday, government offices are closed including business establishment except shopping centers. While, public transport such as buses, passenger jeeps, and tricycle still operate but their routes may be limited because of the parades. President Diosdado Macapagal signed the Republic Act No. 4166 regarding this matter on August 04, 1964. Republic Act No. 4166 is an act changing the date of the Philippines Independence Day from July four to June twelve.
