“Kahandaan sa Sakuna’t Peligro Para sa tunay na Pagbabago” is the theme of National Disaster Resilience Month. Disaster is a sudden event, such as an accident or a natural catastrophe that causes great damage or loss of life. It is dangerous not only to human/people but also for animals and to our nature. Second, we must participate in tree planting activity because trees contribute to our environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife and also, trees influence the

National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

Image
In the past, there is no such thing like earthquake drill. A lot of people died because they have no idea and they don’t know what to do when an actual earthquake occurs so it is such a good thing that National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council implemented this program so that students, parents, and staff will gain a knowledge on how to respond to the complications of an actual earthquake. In every schools, they are teaching every student on how to prepare before an earthquake occur, but some of the students are not taking it seriously when they are performing earthquake drill. Some of them are on their phones, laughing, talking to each other, and more.  They don't realize the importance of this activity because this activity which we called earthquake drill, is for their own sake, their own safety.              This is a very important activity to all of us as it would prevent us in panicking, which may lead to accidents when everyone is afraid during an ea
